Beautiful

Hmmmm well I was listening to my Ipod, and I have had this song on there for the longest time, but I was listening to it, and idk, it just always moves me.

I mean it's like we do all these things to try and make ourselves beautiful to other people or whatever, but no matter what we do, it just isnt enough! We are still filthy and ugly in the eyes of God because of our sin. It is only through Him that we can be truly BEAUTIFUL. Our society puts such a high value on beauty, but the problem is this beauty is defined by the world, and it's just not real.

I am just as guilty as everyone on looking to other people and to magazines and media and trying to fit their standard, but it just takes me further and further away from real beauty.
