Anyways, the knee surgery was a success, and after a little bit of Vicodin and a lot of physical therapy, I am feeling a lot better. I was only on crutches for about a week and I only missed one day of class. I finished PT a couple weeks ago and I am glad to be done! Mostly for the fact that it really cleaned out my wallet. But it was definitely helpful and I have my full range of motion back and have spent some time building up my quads (specifically my vastus medialis).
And here is a before and after picture of what the cartlidge of my knee looked like. I was really surprised/distressed that the cartlidge resembled cotton before getting the surgery.
